Healthcare is at the heart of GSK’s business. We invest heavily in science education and medical research to ensure we are equipped for the science and healthcare needs of tomorrow. Our numerous donations and awards recognise the individuals, the charities and the innovators who help us bring better health to people and communities through out the UK.

Health Programmes
Our health programmes partner us with dynamic organisations and each year we support around 100 UK non-profit organisations that contribute towards building healthier communities.
We reward local and national health heroes with a variety of donations - including the annual GlaxoSmithKline IMPACT Awards. The 'Awards' were started 11 years ago and over that time contributions of over £2 million has been made to more than 200 UK community healthcare charities.
Our investment in UK-based medical research continues to grow. Over the past 16 years, 48 charities have benefited from our donations of over £7.6 million.
GSK is committed to inspiring the next generation of healthcare providers and scientists through education. Our science education programmes ensure that young people are motivated by science and informed about its impact on everyday life.
As a major global company we recognize the importance of achieving a balance between the needs of our organisation and partners, and the needs of the environment. Our support for arts based projects helps people gain access to cultural events.
