Sir Crispin is an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chief Executive of Reed Elsevier plc. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive of Aegis Group plc, which he joined from Guinness plc, where he was a member of the main board and Group Managing Director of United Distillers. He spent his early career with Procter and Gamble. He was knighted in 2004 for his services to the information industry.
